You receive a preliminary plan and cost estimate for your dental treatment in Istanbul. We discuss any areas of uncertainty with you.
A preliminary assessment does not replace an examination. The final plan is established after examination and necessary investigations at the practice. Before travelling, clarify what is included and which additional procedures could affect the cost.
Visits and treatment stages
When can I have fixed teeth again?
For treatment involving implants
The implants are placed first. After healing, the final restoration is fitted during the second visit.
For treatment without implants
The length of your stay depends on the extent of treatment. We discuss this before you travel.
Temporary fixed teeth with All-on-4 / All-on-6
In suitable cases, this early restoration is possible. Implant stability and the clinical findings are among the deciding factors.
Final fixed teeth
After placement, the implants need to integrate with the bone. The final restoration is fitted once healing has been confirmed.
These timings describe our usual process. Additional procedures or a different healing response may require more appointments or time.

Your treatment takes place on Bagdat Avenue (Bagdat Caddesi) in Caddebostan, on Istanbul’s Asian side. Cafés, shops and restaurants are nearby.
You may also wish to explore Istanbul during your stay. What is possible between appointments depends on your treatment and recovery. We discuss the precautions you should take.
Airport transfers included
Airport → hotel and hotel → airport on arrival and departure.
Reduced hotel rates
We can offer reduced rates at partner hotels. You pay for your flights and accommodation.
After you return home
What if a question comes up at home?
After your dental treatment in Istanbul, we initially contact you approximately every six months, then annually. There is no fixed date for this change.
You can also contact us whenever you have questions or symptoms. Messages do not replace necessary dental check-ups.
For an acute problem, seek timely dental care locally. Any necessary further treatment with us takes place in Istanbul.

- What is covered?
- Implants, dental restorations, Smile Design treatments, veneers, zirconia restorations, fillings, root canal treatment and bonding.
- When does the period begin?
- For restorations, from fitting or loading. For other treatments, from the day treatment is completed.
- Costs paid by the patient
- The patient pays travel and accommodation costs for a return visit to Istanbul for further treatment.
What does this policy mean?
We do not charge additional treatment fees for necessary treatment of a complication within this period. Our practice policy does not exclude any complication cases. Further treatment takes place at our practice in Istanbul. This policy does not promise a complication-free outcome.

Video and audio consultations are available in English and French with Furkan Basak, and in English with Fatih Kozan.
Can I discuss my dental treatment in Istanbul with a dentist before travelling?
Yes. We prefer a video consultation, but an audio call is also possible. We discuss your questions and preliminary plan together.
Is a plan based on my photographs final?
It helps us prepare. Photographs, your medical history form and existing X-rays support the assessment. The final plan is established after examination and necessary investigations.
Which travel costs should I budget for?
You pay for your flights and accommodation in addition to treatment. Airport–hotel transfers on arrival and departure are free. We can offer reduced rates at partner hotels. Discuss the scope of treatment and possible additional costs with us beforehand.
What happens if a complication occurs after I return home?
We plan and carry out treatment carefully to minimise the risk of complications. If symptoms occur after you return home, contact us. We discuss the situation and next steps. Depending on the findings, another visit to Istanbul may be needed. Within the five-year period described above, there are no additional treatment charges for treating the complication at our practice. The patient pays travel and accommodation costs for any return visit.
